As small breeders, we give high quality of care to our animals. Our career backgrounds are from the healthcare field, therefore we give great attention to the care and nutrition of our herd. Additionally, Mick grew up in Northeastern Colorado where his family raised sheep and also operated a cow/calf ranch.
We are Mick and Debbie Leighton of Deer Valley Alpacas. Stop by for a visit, you are always welcome. We are members of AOBA, ARI, ABR and ABANC. Our location is west of Loveland, CO, and south of highway 34. On our ranch, we offer many services including breeding, boarding, brokering and sales of alpaca products. We also own and operate DVA Fiber Processing, LLC in Loveland. Come by for a tour of the mill! The coffee pot is always on.
